Dango Family Inc.

Terms of Use

Effective 17 August 2026 · Last updated 17 August 2026

The short version: use the site, buy the book, write to us, unsubscribe whenever you like. Everything below is the long version of that.

1. Who you are dealing with

This website and the materials on it are provided by Dango Family Inc. ("we", "us"). By using the site, buying our materials or writing to us on the channels we operate, you agree to these terms.

Dango Family Inc.

Canada Business Corporations Act · Corporation number 1410243-6

Our software products have their own terms, published on their own sites. These terms cover this website, our books and toolkits, and our messaging channels.

2. The website

You are welcome to read it, quote short passages with attribution, and share the link. The site is provided as it is, and we may change or withdraw any part of it at any time.

3. The book and the toolkit

Our books and toolkits are sold through Payhip, which acts as Merchant of Record. That means Payhip is legally the seller for the transaction, handles payment and tax, and its own terms and refund policy apply to the purchase. We never see or hold your card details.

When you buy, you get a personal, non-transferable licence to read and use the material yourself — including with your own family. You may not resell it, republish it, share your copy publicly, or upload it anywhere others can download it. Files may be watermarked with the buyer's details.

The Self-Tape Toolkit is provided free to people who bought the book. We verify that by email address, which is why the code is sent to that address rather than shown on screen.

4. This is experience, not professional advice

Our books describe what we have learned running a real household through a real industry. They are not legal, financial, medical, immigration or talent-representation advice, and reading them does not make us your agent, manager or adviser.

Contracts, union rules, tax treatment and child-performer law differ by jurisdiction and change over time. Before you sign anything or make a decision that matters, take advice from someone qualified in your own jurisdiction. We cannot promise any outcome — no audition, no booking, no career. Anyone who does is selling you something.

5. Email and messaging

We send marketing email only to people who expressly asked for it. Every marketing message carries a working unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect on our side, not just in your inbox.

You can reach us by email, WhatsApp, Telegram or telephone. Those channels are operated by third parties and are subject to their terms as well as ours. Please do not send us sensitive personal information over a messaging app — if we need something confidential, we will ask for it a safer way.

How we handle what you send is set out in our Privacy Policy.

6. Children

This site is intended for adults. If you are under the age of majority where you live, use it only with a parent or guardian, and let them make any purchase.

7. What belongs to whom

The text, photographs, book contents and design of this site belong to Dango Family Inc. or are used with permission. Buying a copy buys you the licence in section 3, not ownership of the work. Our names, logos and product names are ours.

Anything you send us — a question, a correction, a suggestion — you are free to send, and we are free to act on it without owing you a fee. We will not publish your name or your message without asking you first.

8. Things you must not do

9. No warranty, and the limit of what we owe

We put real care into this material, but we provide the site and its contents "as is". We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the information will suit your particular situation.

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything arising out of these terms or your use of our materials is limited to what you actually paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including lost opportunities or lost earnings.

Nothing here limits any right you have under consumer-protection law that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of Ontario have jurisdiction, and you and we both agree to that — without affecting any right you have to bring a claim where you live, if the law of your home jurisdiction gives you one.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page tells you when they last changed, and the version in force is the one published here when you use the site.

12. Contact

Anything at all: huan@vowric.com, or by post to the address in section 1.
