Dango Family Inc.

Privacy Policy

Effective 17 August 2026 · Last updated 17 August 2026

We collect the least we can get away with, we tell you who else touches it, and we delete it when you ask. This page says exactly what that means.

1. Who we are

This site and the products described on it are operated by Dango Family Inc., a Canadian federal corporation. We are the organisation accountable for the personal information described here.

Dango Family Inc.
Ontario, Canada
Canada Business Corporations Act · Corporation number 1410243-6

Privacy contact: huan@vowric.com

2. What this policy covers

It covers the personal information we handle through:

Our software products — including CallToWrap — are covered by their own privacy policies, published on their own sites. Where one of those products holds information about your family, that policy governs it, not this one.

3. What we collect, and when

Everything in this section is information you hand us on purpose. There is no account to create here. The one thing measured in the background is traffic, and section 4 says exactly what that is.

When you join a waitlist

Your email address, which list you joined, where the signup came from, and the date and time.

When you tick the box asking us to email you

We record the consent itself: your email address, the exact wording you were shown, whether you agreed or declined, the date and time, and the IP address and browser user-agent the form was submitted from. Canada's anti-spam law requires us to be able to show that consent was given, and this is how we do it. The box is never pre-ticked, and declining it does not withhold anything you asked for.

When you claim the Self-Tape Toolkit

The email address you give us, so we can check it against the list of people who bought the book and send a code to it. The code is emailed rather than shown on screen.

When you buy the book or the toolkit

The purchase itself is handled by our store provider, not by us (see section 7). What reaches our systems is your email address and the transaction reference, so we know a purchase was made and can honour what comes with it. We never receive your card details.

When you write to us

Whatever you put in the message, and the address or number you sent it from, for as long as we need it to answer you and keep a record of the conversation.

4. How we measure traffic

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit, which pages they read, and which site sent them to us. It is added to these pages by Cloudflare itself rather than by anything we install.

It is cookieless. It sets nothing on your device, assigns you no identifier, and cannot follow you to any other website. What we see is counts and referring sites, not people.

5. What we do not collect

This is worth stating plainly, because it is unusual:

6. Why we are allowed to hold it

We rely on your consent, given when you fill in a form, tick a box, buy something or write to us. Marketing email is sent only to people who expressly asked for it, and every marketing message carries a working unsubscribe link. You can withdraw consent at any time — see section 10.

7. Who else touches it

We use a small number of service providers. Each one sees only what it needs to do its job, and none of them is permitted to use your information for their own purposes.

ProviderWhat it does, and what it sees
Cloudflare Runs our domain names and sits in front of our websites. It sees the connection metadata of every visit, including your IP address. It also provides the cookieless Web Analytics described in section 4.
Payhip Sells our books and toolkits as Merchant of Record — the store is legally the seller. It holds your purchase and payment details under its own privacy policy; we receive only your email address and a transaction reference.
Resend Delivers the email we send you. It sees your email address and the message.
Google Workspace Receives mail sent to our @dangofamily.com addresses.
Meta Platforms Carries the messages if you choose to contact us on WhatsApp. Meta handles those messages under its own terms; we store our copy in our own systems.
Telegram Carries the messages if you choose to contact us on Telegram, on the same footing.
Contabo Hosts the servers our systems run on. See section 8.

We will also disclose information where the law requires it — a court order, a lawful demand from a public authority, or where it is necessary to protect someone's safety.

8. Where your information is stored

Our servers are not in Canada. We run on infrastructure operated by Contabo in Germany and the United States, and the providers listed in section 7 operate internationally.

That means your information is stored and processed outside Canada, and while it is there it is subject to the laws of those countries — including lawful access by their courts and government authorities. We tell you this because Canadian privacy law requires it, and because you should be able to decide with the facts in hand.

9. How long we keep it

10. Your rights, and how to use them

You may ask us to:

Write to huan@vowric.com. We will answer within 30 days. We do not charge for this, and we will not ask you why.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a privacy matter, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

11. Children

These websites are written for parents and other adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through them. If you believe a child has given us information here, write to us and we will delete it.

Some of our software products are built for households that include minors. In those products a child's information is held within the account of the parent or guardian responsible for them, and is governed by that product's own privacy policy.

12. How we protect it

Traffic to our sites is encrypted in transit. Access to the systems holding personal information is restricted to the people who operate them, and administrative credentials are held in an encrypted store. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise — if a breach ever puts you at risk of significant harm, we will tell you and the Privacy Commissioner, as Canadian law requires.

13. Changes to this policy

If we change it, we change the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we handle information we already hold about you, we will tell the people it affects by email rather than relying on you to re-read the page.

14. Contact

Questions, requests and complaints all go to the same place: huan@vowric.com, or by post to the address in section 1.
